The game is structured in periods of six months called turns. In each turn the player will face a specific scenario and several courses of action. The fate of the colony will be determined by his decisions. Hence, he will discover that even the smallest choices have a big impact.

There are three different sets of variables that influence each other: RESOURCES, PEOPLE and EQUIPMENT. The interaction between them impacts the Minimal Life Conditions (described below).
